Metatarsus Adductus Or Banana Feet

What is Metatarsus adductus?

As your child develops in your womb, their feet are tucked in and curled underneath. Shortly after birth, the foot usually straightens out and corrects itself; however this isn’t always the case. Metatarsus Adductus causes the foot to appear like it is ‘turned inwards’.

It is important to have your child appropriately assessed by one of our expert podiatrists at Elite Podiatry to correctly diagnose and treat it accordingly.
