Foot problems in Children
There are a variety of issues that you might encounter in your growing child’s feet and legs that may cause them pain or discomfort.
There are also many conditions in adulthood whose effect(s) can be managed significantly better, reduced, or even prevented, if treated appropriately and early on in life.
These include conditions such as;
- Flat or pronated feet
- High-arched or supinated feet
- Toe-walking
- In-toeing or pigeon toed
- Growing pains
- Metatarsus Adductus or ‘Banana feet’
- Hammer toes
- Curly toes
- Sever’s Disease ( Paediatrics )
- Osgood Schlatters Disease
- Clubfoot or Talipes Equinovarus
- Warts
- Bunions
Please do note that many of these conditions have a genetic factor involved and so the effectiveness of our treatment(s) do have limitations and can vary between patients and case-to-case.
Other conditions that we assess and treat at Elite Podiatry include:
- Clawed toes
- Hammer toes
- Club feet
- Curly toes

It is important to have your child appropriately assessed by one of our expert podiatrists at Elite Podiatry to determine the cause and treat it accordingly.
