Orthotics and insoles are regularly used to provide pain relief by correcting any abnormality in your biomechanics, this in turn helps to reduce overuse and stress to your muscles and joints.
Orthotic devices are made only after a thorough and comprehensive biomechanical assessment including visual gait analysis, muscle and joint range-of-motion testing.
At Elite Podiatry, we use the latest digital scanning technology to capture a 3D laser image of your feet. The scanning process is quick, clean, accurate and effective.
This precise method allows us to capture the contours and dimensions of the foot which gives more information to the orthotic lab then previous cast moulds resulting in a higher quality finished product. These scans are then sent to the most prestigious orthotic laboratory in Perth to be hand made using a detailed script from our Podiatrists.

At Elite Podiatry, we use customised “permanent” orthotics and customised “temporary” orthotics to help treat biomechanical issues.
Depending on your requirements, we can customise an orthotic or insole device suitable to your needs.
The temporary orthotics we use “SynxSole“, is a product which owner Marie Ishak-Lewis has co-developed after many years of clinical podiatry practice.
The comfortable and durable SynxSole orthotic was designed specifically to treat a range of conditions including heel pain, arch pain, plantar fasciitis, ankle pain, shin splints, knee pain, hip pain and lower back pain.
We use soft EVA wedging and padding to customise these devices to your needs to bring you in a more corrected biomechanical position that in your appointment starting with mild control and increasing as needed at subsequent visits. Once pains reduce and wear on padding is even we can then transfer that padding or “script” to a custom or “permanent” orthotic which can last more long term.
We believe there is no comparison when compared to the “quick & easy” computer-generated orthotic systems.
