What is required before a workplace assessment can take place?
- Written approval from your insurance company
- A doctor’s referral either from a GP or specialist
- Insurance claim number
- Insurance contact details
- Any previous radiology reports relating to your workplace injury

- Ingrown Toenail surgery
- Inability to self-care due to their injury and require regular general foot care (nails, corn, callous)
What can you expect from your Initial Comprehensive assessment?
Patients will undertake a full assessment including:
- Detailed injury and medical history
- Joint Range of Motion testing from the pelvis to the feet
- Muscle strength and Flexibility tests
- Weight bearing assessment from head to feet
- Gait Analysis Assessment
- Footwear Assessment
Further testing may be required including neurovascular review and referrals for medical imaging/conduction studies to assist with diagnosis.
A full report will be provided that outlines the assessments undertaken, results, diagnosis, short and long term recommended treatments and expected outcomes.
Our staff will liaise on behalf of our patient with the referring Doctor, patients Case Worker, Insurance Company and workplace.
